Josh has such a great memory.  About a year ago, we stopped by one of my coworkers house and picked him up so he could carpool with me to work.  After picking up Mike, we stopped by and dropped Josh off.  Every now and then Josh would ask if we could go pick up Mike.  We have a couple times since, but it has been a few months since Josh has seen him.  We were sitting at the dinner table today and out of the blue Josh looks at me and says… ”So Dad, what did Mike tell you today?”.  It kind of caught me off guard and I asked if he was suppose to tell me something.  He said he was just wondering.  Not sure where this came from or why, but its funny (for me anyway) that Josh still remembers Mike and brings him up when we least expect it.

Josh has been itching to get into the pool this year.  It has finally been warming up and I took the kids in last week.  Josh had no problems getting in and getting wet.  He can now stand at the side of the pool with his head above the water.  It is amazing seeing how much he has grown from last year.  We still need to practice swimming and get him into lessons again, but he is trying.

Josh, Sami and I went to the park yesterday.  Sami is getting to the point where she doesn’t need me to climb all over everything with her.  After visiting the park, we went to Barro’s (pizza) for lunch.  On the way there, we passed a car with a dog in it.  Josh then asked why didn’t we bring Kipper.  I told him I thought about taking him to the park, but we wouldn’t be able to take him to the restaurant because they wouldn’t let him inside.  He said we could leave him in the car and I told him that wasn’t a good idea either.  It was suppose to reach 100 degrees yesterday and it would be too hot.  Are you ready…  He said we could just get some sun screen and put it on his legs.  :)  He is so cute.
