This was another tough week for Josh. Once again, he wasn’t able to pick up any wins. The two boys on the team he played are pretty good. They had averages in the high 80s and low 90s and didn’t do worse than their averages. Josh’s average going into the night was a 77 and he couldn’t get close again. he bowled a 56 and a 68. He tried very hard, but he just couldn’t get any marks. Every ball seemed to go straight to the left bumper, no matter where he through it. This kid is putting a natural hook on this ball that is not suppose to hook. It is just a cheap straight ball. Look out, when he figures it out he is going to be kicking my butt!!

Josh went bowling again this morning. He was real excited about going today as he got a new ball this last week. It has a little bit of orange, red and black. He calls it his fireball!

Today, Josh bowled the “vacant” team. This league has only has 5 “real” teams so they put in a 6th team of just vacant scores to even it out. With Josh being the only person on his team, we got done pretty quickly. Josh went into this match with a 79 average. His first game was a 66 and second game was an 83. One cool thing to note is Josh’s name was on the front page of the stat sheet. He had the second highest scratch game for the boys, second highest handicap game for the boys and the second highest pins over average for the boys. As a team (him and the vacant) they had the second high team scratch game. Pretty soon, we’ll be seeing his name in lights!!! :)

We do need help with something. Josh needs a Team Name. Right now, his team name is team 5. So, if anyone has a clever team name for a five year old bowler who is basically bowling by himself, let us know!!
