Playing catch

One of Josh’s favorite past-times is playing catch.  Up until recently it had been trying to play catch.  He could throw it to me just fine but he would have difficulty catching the ball.  Part of the problem is the size of the glove as it is a little too big for him. However, he is getting use to it and as long as I get the ball in the area, he is getting good at catching it.  I am beginning to like this game more and more!

Josh has also been practicing reading.  Tara has been working hard with him on word recognition.  When we read bedtime stories we stop at the three words “and”, “to” and “the” so Josh can read them.  He gets them right most of the time but he does get lazy as well.  What do you expect, he is only four!
